Cambodian Prime Minister said he plans to visit Myanmar to hold talks with military rulers

PHNOM PENH (Reuters) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said on Monday he plans to visit Myanmar to hold talks with the country’s military rulers and help heal divisions in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. .

Myanmar’s status as a member of the 10-nation ASEAN was highlighted by a February 1 coup, but in comments during a ceremony in Prey Veng province, Hun Sen said that Myanmar is a “family member of ASEAN” and it’s time to strengthen the group.
