BTS performed “Butter” at the 2022 Grammy Awards
For their performance of “Butter” at the 2022 Grammy Awards, BTS incorporated a spy theme into a never-before-seen rendition of the song.
Because Jin is currently recovering from an operation, he opened the performance by sitting at a control desk. Jungkook then descended from the ceiling and repeated his “Euphoria” performance from that of the group BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.
The camera then pand to the audience showing Suga, J-Hope, RM and Jimin seated at different tables before focusing on V speaking to Rodrigo.
Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin and V joined Jungkook on stage while Jin remained at the controls. As the highlight of the performance, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook performed a new dance break with lasers and jacket choreography.
To finish the song, Jin joined Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook and performed the final part of the choreography with the members.

As Jin watched part of the performance from the control panel before joining the members on stage, he complimented Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
“It was the first time I saw the members dance like that on stage…” Jin told VLIVE. “But seeing you take the dance break on stage, I could understand why people like BTS.”
