BROTHERS who escaped the war in Ukraine are welcomed to a school in the UK.

You live in it now East London.
Oksana said: “I’ve been so nervous and upset since I left Ukraine, but this is a big moment.
“It is a great relief for me to have my children in this school.
“I cannot express my gratitude for what this school and people have done for our family.
“I didn’t expect all of what they gave us. Laptops, uniforms and books, it’s so much.
“I have said that my boys will be the most respectful top students in this school and will do their jobs. I will take care of that as her mother.
“I can’t compare my life here now with my family and friends back home in Ukraine who sleep with their children in basements or on the floors in corridors because they don’t want to be near the windows because of bombs.”
