Britney Spears has come a long way career in show business, and over the years several artists and bands have come and gone. She regained her freedom in late 2021 after her 13-year conservatory ended. Since then she has surrounded herself with people who have her best interests at heart, including a loving assistant.

In late 2021, Spears hired Victoria Asher as part of her team, referring to her as her “assistant” on social media. Asher herself has a history in the music industry: her stage name is Vicky T, and she was the keytarist for popular band Cobra Starship until the group’s disbandment in 2015.
Vicky left college to join Cobra Starship when she was just 18 years old.

In the late 2000s and early 2010s, Cobra Starship released hits like “You Make Me Feel…” and “Good Girls Go Bad”. When Vicky looks back on her time in the band, she has fond memories of her time in the spotlight.
“It was totally life changing. If I could relive it all over again, I would,” she said loudly of the experience the things. “Growing up I was always very shy and insecure. Joining the band helped me find my voice, break out of my shell and finally have confidence.”
“I’ve been proud of what we’ve done every minute and I’m still amazed at how far we’ve come,” she continued. “I miss being a part of the band every day. I miss the fans, the feeling of being on stage, I miss the close family bond the boys and I had.”
“I am determined to bring us back together at some point,” she added.

Vicky T’s love of music dates back to childhood
It was no coincidence that Vicky became addicted to music as a young adult; she has been a music lover since she was a child. She credits her family for creating such a creative environment at home.
“My father has always been in music, so my parents traveled a lot and took me with them. I think this itinerant lifestyle prepared me for so many years of touring,” she said in an interview All Access. “It felt like second nature when I joined the band. I also grew up in a household where music was played constantly. I’ve been introduced to incredible films, books and artists and I think that has certainly influenced my work. I was fascinated by all art forms and pursued them with a particular focus on film and music.”

Britney loves having Vicky as her assistant
Today Vicky spends a lot of time with Britney Spears. In a post about her Instagram, Spears shared a photo of the two hugging in a pool, with Spears going topless. “Me naked in the pool and my assistant Vicky T holds me like a baby,” she captioned the photo.
Spears holds a special place in Vicky’s heart as the former Cobra Starship singer shared photos of them together on her Instagram often. “She is a shining light,” she captioned one post. “Nothing but love for that special someone.”
