Boris Johnson backs Ukraine while Germany and France’s cowardice is exposed

Power failure

WHEN it comes to Ukraine, the contrast between Boris Johnson and his pathetic German counterpart could not be greater.

Our PM is planning now up the ante against Putin by supplying our tanks to Poland so it can quickly hand over its own Soviet-era T-72s President Zelenskyy.

This is on top of the other British arms, military training, intelligence and aid that have made us Ukraine’s No. 1 ally.

This free, sovereign country MUST survive. All nations must face Russian tyranny before it slaughters more innocent people and endangers more of Europe.

Britain knows. So do our NATO allies and most of the EU.

But not all. Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s selfish cowardice puts his nation to shame.

He’s talking about a good game, but behind the scenes he’s preventing Ukraine from getting the heavy weapons it needs.

Scholz refuses to stop German gas supplies from Russia, claiming not only that doing so would threaten EU jobs, but bizarrely that bankrupting Moscow would NOT help end the war.

Apparently he would rather risk a victory for Putin than suffer economic damage himself.

France, on the other hand, is likely to be re-elected tomorrow President Macrona man who became a global laughing stock for weakly “negotiating” with the Kremlin maniac.

A man whose lies about our AstraZeneca jabmotivated by anti-Brexit defiance, are now believed to have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives.

But to Labor and the EU’s supporters in the media, these are all trivial flaws.

For them, the true measure of a world market leader is whether or not they enjoyed unlawful cakes, possibly also sandwiches, with work colleagues two years ago.

A big thing

It remains in the buzz that our PM could not be more blunt about India’s Narendra Modi for his amiable neutrality towards Putin.

But diplomacy had to prevail during Boris’ journey.

And the price looks considerable: A historic trade deal with India’s huge economy this year.

This is in addition to our other important new agreements and all the deals carried over from our EU years and then improved.

There are also others from 20 US states.

Keir Starmer didn’t want any of them. He claimed that we could “leave” the EU but remain in its customs union.

What a dishonest trick that was. And what a monumental mistake it would have been.

The global reputation of OUR universities will be destroyed as long as they smack trigger warnings on Harry Potter books.

Congratulations to University Minister Michelle Donelan for calling them out.

Cancel culture and the intolerance of bright, snowflake-like students conditioned to despise everyone to Jeremy Corbyn’s right is a cancer we need to excise.

Freedom of speech and independent thinking MUST prevail in our universities. Boris Johnson backs Ukraine while Germany and France’s cowardice is exposed
