Blac Chyna denies knowingly accepting $100,000 ‘killing fee’ after Rob & Chyna were axed


Blac Chyna testified in Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday (April 21) that after the cancellation of her E! show Rob & China.

Chyna took the stand for the third straight day in her $100 million lawsuit against members of the Kardashian-Jenner family. The model and reality star claims the family has been in touch with executives at TV network E! to pull the plug Rob & Chinain which she starred with former boyfriend Rob Kardashian.

Kardashian-Jenner’s attorney, Michael Rhodes, questioned Chyna about a “killing fee” she received for ending the show and an additional $370,000 (£287,000) payment to perform Keeping up with the Kardashians.

While Chyna, whose full name is Angela Renée White, admitted to accepting the $100,000 fee, she said she believes it was payment for filming and not the end of the show.

“Why would I sign a launch fee for my number one show?” she asked loudly Peopleand claimed her attorney barred her from contract negotiations and that the show was still being filmed at the time.

Also during yesterday’s trial, Kris Jenner alleged that Chyna made death threats against Kylie Jenner. The Kardashian matriarch said she heard about the threat from Kylie and now-ex-boyfriend Tyga about the threats but decided to keep the incident “within the family.”

Chyna not only has five-year-old daughter Dream with Kris’ son Rob, but also nine-year-old son King Cairo with Tyga.

Chyna first filed her defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner clan in 2017. The model started dating Rob in January 2016 and the couple got engaged in April.

Shortly thereafter, camera crews began filming the couple for their series Rob & China – a spin-off of the hit reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians — who focused on the couple as they welcomed their first child. In the middle of filming the second season, they broke up and the series was put on hold.
