Bitcoin Extends Downtrend, Drops 12.1% to 47,176 USD

(Reuters) – Bitcoin fell 12.14% to $47,776.09 on Saturday, a loss of $6,567.6 from its previous close.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest and most popular cryptocurrency, is down 31.6% from the year high of $69,000 reached on November 10.
Ether, a coin linked to the ethereum blockchain network, fell 10.14% to $3,794.61 on Saturday, a loss of $428.19 from its previous close.
