Austin Police Department to discuss results from the police payroll modeling study

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Travis County is looking to improve assistance for those facing evictions because the final delay due to the pandemic will expire in early March.

Eviction Lab, a nonprofit that looks at eviction rates nationally, released data last month showing that before the pandemic, about 200 evictions were filed weekly in Austin. Those numbers have dropped dramatically as the federal government and county leaders roll out policy regulations.
