At least four people have been killed and 14 injured in a series of shootings that shook Philadelphia in one day.
An 18-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being shot twice in the knee in Powelton on Thursday afternoon.
The teenager sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive.
Police have made no arrests in relation to potential suspects.
Officers responded to two double shots and one triple shot as violence unfolded Thursday.
A man believed to be in his 20s died after being shot in the head in South Philadelphia. fox29 reported.
The victim has not been identified and a motive for the shooting has not been established.
Police later found a 33-year-old man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
A 37-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman were both shot in the thigh and taken to hospital in two separate incidents.
Three people were attacked in a Wallace Street shooting.
Two of the male victims were taken to hospital in critical condition, while the other is believed to be stable.
They have not been identified and their ages have not been released.
Meanwhile, two men, 28 and 66, have been hospitalized and are in critical condition after being shot dead in the Brewerytown neighborhood of Philadelphia. ABC6 reported.
A shootout with up to eight gunmen shook the city on Thursday evening.
A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Philadelphia Police Department Captain John Walker told reporters that the injured victim was one of the suspected gunmen who were apprehended by police.
Officers also found an assault rifle under the vehicle.
Bullet casings were found next to the bodies of two 32-year-old men shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small revealed the victims were shot multiple times in the chest, torso and back.
The victims have not been identified.
But police say the cases provide evidence the gunmen were close to the men when they opened fire.
Up to 20 shots were fired at a red Honda Civic that injured a 20-year-old man in West Philadelphia.
The victim apparently ran to a gas station for help before being taken to the hospital.
Police say he is in critical but stable condition.
A 37-year-old man and 33-year-old woman were shot multiple times in Feltonville.
The man is expected to survive, but the woman was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The victim was being driven to a hospital appointment when she was shot at.
A shooting was reported at a gas station around midnight when a 53-year-old woman was shot in the hand.
Minutes later, a man, also 53, was targeted. He was able to walk to a hospital and is being treated.
The investigation into the shootings continues as police search for potential suspects.
Police data shows that there have been at least 132 homicides in Philadelphia this year.
