KARIM BENZEMA broke Thierry Henry’s French record after scoring a double for Real Madrid on Monday night.
The goals were the 412th and 413th of Benzema’s career for club and country.
That puts him past the tally of 411 set by French legend Henry between 1994 and 2014.
Benzema will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the greatest strikers of all time.
And he’s cementing his legacy with a sensational season for Madrid.
He has already scored 32 goals in 34 appearances for them in all competitions.
This includes a Hat-trick last week against Paris Saint-Germain which took his team to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
And his compatriot Henry was stunned as he made some pundits on the game As Micah Richards admitted, he had only just been won over by Benzema’s quality.

Richards continued, “Lately, the last six months. He’s convinced he’s up there with Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.”
A shocked Henry added: “Wow. Just tonight?!”
