‘Armed and dangerous’ man shot and killed three Franklin County neighbors: state legislators

LOUISBURG, NC (WNCN) – Franklin County authorities are searching for a man believed to be armed and dangerous after three people were shot and killed late Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies responded to a home along the 100 block of Vineyard Drive outside of Louisburg just after 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived they found three people who had been shot.
All three were taken to the hospital, a press release said. No information was given about her injuries.
Investigators charged Todd Richardson Rogers with triple assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and cause serious injury. Rogers is not in custody and should be considered armed and dangerous, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to information from the sheriff’s office, Rogers is the neighbor of the location where the shooting took place.
