ANTĐ and Dec looked devastated tonight as two players gambled and lost over £1 million on their Limitless Win scheme.
According to the rules of the Saturday night test, if you pass the numerical answer even by one answer, you will lose a lot.
And Kai and Lee wagered a life-changing total on the length of a dinosaur skeleton owned by the Natural History Museum.
They calculate 30 meters but in the heartbreaking scene, the board – which shows the unlimited cash prizes – turns red.
Dec Donnelly plopped down on the dashboard watching the news before holding his head.
Ant McPartlin looked stunned at the show’s biggest-ever loss and the two exclaimed, “No!”
Earlier, they asked the couple, “How many meters long is the Dippy dinosaur of the Natural History Museum that went on a national tour in 2018 in its display pose?”
Ant, 46, told them: “You dialed after 30 and you look over £1 million. Are you over or still in the game.”
After the loss, he told them: “The correct answer is 26 metres. You’re four meters away from £1 million.
“You’ve been playing a great game until that question. I’m so sorry for you. Sorry. I’m really sorry.”
On their brave faces, the players told him: “We came here with nothing, we left with nothing”.
Dec says they won’t even get the smaller amount they deposited, saying: “You lose the £10,000 you have in the bank but thank you.
“You’re phenomenal and what a game they had, ladies and gentlemen.”
As the couple left the stage, Dec was seen clutching his face with both hands: “Can you believe it? They’re nice guys, aren’t they?”
Many fans at home angrily ignored Google to see how big the dinosaur was and learned they had lost before it was announced.
One wrote: “Just watch the damn dinosaur and I could cry.”
