President Biden’s new disinformation czar Nina Jankowicz once belted out a raunchy parody version of a Christmas carol — she changed the lyrics to ask who she had to “fk” to be “famous and powerful,” according to resurfaced YouTube footage.
“I want to be rich, famous and powerful! Step on all my enemies and never do anything,” Jankowicz sang in the 2015 clip. “Who do I f—k to be famous and powerful? I did all I could and now the rest is up to you,” read her rendition of “My Simple Christmas Wish (Rich, Famous, and Powerful)”.
Jankowicz’s lyrics were her own twist on the original 1998 David Friedman song, with “Who do I f—k” replacing the original line “Who do I have to fake?”.
Footage was first unearthed by Breitbart and first uploaded to YouTube by the LA TI DO account.
Jankowicz’s video is the latest display of her vocal power to hit the internet this week. On Friday, a pathetic video surfaced on TikTok in which she adapted the Mary Poppins hit “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” into a song about fake news and disinformation.
“Information laundering is really quite cruel. It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious by saying them in Congress or a mainstream magazine, so the origins of the disinformation are a little less gruesome,” she sang.
Jankowicz was appointed by President Biden earlier this week to head a US Department of Homeland Security disinformation governance board. The move immediately sparked howls of outrage from conservatives over concerns about free speech and Jankowicz’s own past as a partisan mudslinger.
In October 2020, she publicly questioned the Post’s accurate reporting of Hunter Biden’s laptop and spread false rumors suggesting it was Russian disinformation. She has also publicly shown sympathy for Taylor Lorenz, a controversial Washington Post writer.
