YouTube comedian Andrew Schulz has revealed Joe Rogan’s emotional reaction to UFC Champion Israel Adesanya defending him against accusations of racism.

In February, Joe Rogan became get involved in controversy after a viral video captured him using racial slurs in classic JRE podcast episodes. Angered, critics organized a boycott of Spotify for his past comments.

Despite the growing backlash, Israel Adesanya come to protect Rogan during the previous UFC 271 fight. According to Andrew Schulz, the 54-year-old comedian had an emotional reaction when the Middleweight Champion came forward to defend him.

For the February 18 Flagrant 2 podcast, Andrew Schulz sat down with the famous UFC fighter to discuss a variety of topics, including Adesanya’s defense of Rogan at the pre-fight UFC 271 conference.

The YouTube comedian later revealed Rogan had an emotional reaction to the viral moment. “I don’t know if you and Rogan talked, but I talked to him about it and he said it brought him to tears,” he said. The UFC champion put his hand over his heart and replied, “I love that man.”

Israel Adesanya then expanded further on why he’s defending JRE’s podcast server. “We know what is going on. That’s why I say make no noise,” he said. “Don’t focus on what they want you to focus on, focus on why they canceled Rogan. Why now?”

The UFC The boxer then revealed his doubts about the origin of the Rogan slur video. “Do you know how much manpower it takes to go through each episode of JRE?” he asks. “They probably had a whole team doing it. Israel Adesanya also shared her theory on why the JRE podcast was canceled. “He has the biggest background on planet earth. He can’t be controlled,” he said. “So who, the powerful, like us let’s cancel him.” The star predicts that another wave of controversy surrounding Rogan will erupt as his critics will continue to try to remove him from Spotify.
