Andrew Garfield responds to Tom Holland’s claims of wearing a fake butt in Spider-Man

Andrew Garfield has responded to Tom Holland’s claim that one of the Spider-Man actors was wearing a fake butt under his superhero suit.
Garfield further addressed the rumors during an appearance late night with Seth Meyers on Thursday (April 28).
Host Seth Meyers showed the actor a clip of Holland claiming that one of the Spider-Man actors – either himself, Garfield or Tobey Maguire – wore a fake butt while donning the iconic red suit.

The three actors, each of whom has previously played Webslinger, faced off over the past year Spider Man: No Way Homewith Garfield and Maguire making surprising cameos in the film.
The film was the third in the MCU’s Homecoming trilogy to star Holland as Spider-Man.
“He’s just stirring the pot,” Garfield said of his co-star’s comments. “Old Tom, he can’t help it.”
The actor continued, “You know, there’s a phrase we have in the entertainment industry that’s like, ‘We want to put bums on seats.’ You know, we want to get the audience to sit down and pay for their tickets.”

Garfield added that “Tom is pretty good at creating subgenres of games for all of you”.
Addressing the rumor specifically, he said, “While you’re going to the movies, ‘Well, that butt doesn’t look real. Tobey’s looks like it’s real. Could Andrew have that much ass? Maybe.'”
The 38-year-old clarified that if someone wore the wrong bottoms in the film, it wasn’t him.
“All I know is that I’m completely unchanged and that’s all I can say,” he said, adding that Holland is “very good at marketing”.
