AN an eight-year-old boy was run over by a car while riding a bicycle on a residential street.

The condition of the child is unknown and police are speaking to a man in connection with the collision.

The road will remain cordless following tonight’s incident in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester.

Multiple police cars as well as ambulances attended.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to reports of a road
Traffic collision between a car and a bicycle on Hamilton Street
in Stalybridge just after 5pm today.

“Emergency services are engaged and an eight-year-old from
injured cyclist.

“A man is currently talking to officers regarding
incident. The road is being closed while the requests are still going. “
