Amber warns Lina Sadar Khil after girl, 3, disappears from San Antonio playground and could be in ‘serious danger’

AN Amber Alert was issued to three-year-old, Lina Sadar Khil, who disappeared from the San Antonio Playground late Monday afternoon.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the department “did not spare any property or resources in trying to find” Lina.
The girl was last seen at 5 p.m. Monday on the playground inside the apartment complex in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Street.
Her mother left the area for a short time and returned to find her daughter missing.
McManus said the search for Lina is ongoing 24 hours a day. “And we will continue this until, hopefully, we find Lina. But we don’t stop at the end of the shift. This will be continuous. ”
Police were able to identify most of the other children and adults who were at the playground when Lina disappeared, and a large law enforcement presence was present at the apartment complex on Tuesday.
No one is allowed in or out of the complex without inspection by officers, McManus said.
Agents are going door-to-door, searching cars and asking the FBI for help in finding Lina.
“We have already established a command line, and we will continue to do this for as long as necessary,” McManus said.
Lina’s parents are working together, but there was a language barrier at first due to her mother speaking an uncommon Arabic dialect.
“Their status is what you might expect for parents whose children have been missing for a while,” McManus said.
Lina was last seen wearing a black coat, red dress, and black shoes. She has straight, shoulder length hair and was last seen in a ponytail.
If you have seen Lina or know where she is or who she is with, please call the SAPD Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.
