LAS VEGAS– Adele returns to Las Vegas.
After rescheduling her concert residency at The Colosseum at Casears Palace a day before it begins in January, the singer announced on Monday that she has officially postponed her shows.
“Words cannot describe how thrilled I am to finally be able to announce these postponed shows. I was really heartbroken to have to cancel it,” the Grammy winner wrote on Instagram. “But after what feels like an eternity figuring out the logistics for the show I really want to deliver and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever! Now I know it was a horrible decision for some of you part and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right thing to do. Being with you every week in such an intimate space has been what I’ve been looking forward to the most and will give You are the best of me.”
Their shows will now run from November 18th to March 23rd. On her website, Adele writes that she has added eight additional dates along with the 24 postponed shows. According to their website, priority will be given to those who held tickets for the canceled shows.
When Adele originally postponed her shows, she shared a tearful video, posted to Instagram, in which she explained the complications she and her crew encountered in preparing for the residency.
“I’m so sorry, but my show isn’t done yet,” she said at the time. “Half my crew, half my team is down with Covid. They still are, and it was impossible to finish the show. And I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m disappointed.”
