Aaron Paul has revealed the touching gesture he made to his ex breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston after giving birth to his second child.
Paul announced last year that he is expecting another baby with his wife, actress and director Lauren Parsekian.
Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on the hit AMC crime drama, told Jimmy Fallon that he had asked Cranston to be his child’s godfather.
Speaking of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonthe actor said: “[Cranston] hit the baby. I asked Bryan on his birthday to sponsor our baby.
“He said ‘no,'” joked Paul.
The actor spoke earnestly and expressed a deep-rooted affection for his former co-star, who played Walter White breaking Bad.
“No, he was very excited, very honored. I love the man more than anything, he’s one of my best friends in the whole world,” he said.
Paul and Cranston are both ready to repeat theirs breaking Bad Roles in the spin-off’s sixth and final season Better call Saulwhich premiered earlier this week.
“It was nice to put on Pinkman’s skin again,” Paul told Fallon. “It was strange.”
Better call Saul can be viewed on AMC in the US and on Netflix in the UK.
