A US military helicopter carrying four people crashes in Norway

A US military plane with four people on board has crashed in northern Norway.
The V-22 Osprey aircraft was participating in a NATO military exercise when it was reported missing just before 6:30 p.m. local time.
The plane, which was on a training exercise called Cold Response, was scheduled to land at 6 p.m.
Norway’s Joint Rescue Coordination Centers (JRCC) said there was bad weather in the area and conditions were deteriorating.
A JRCC spokesman said: “We have made an aerial find.
“We found it after receiving a distress signal.”
The condition of the people on board is still unclear.
