A man has died at a home in north Wales after being bitten by a dog.
Police were alerted by ambulances just before midday on Monday after the 62-year-old man suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Holt Road, Wrexham.
Paramedics tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
North Wales Police said the dog was “held securely at the property and euthanized by a vet at the scene”.
Other dogs at the property have been removed by handlers and will be temporarily housed in kennels while the investigation into the incident continues, police said.
The man’s family has been informed.
