A bad deal comes back to haunt them again

NS Chicago Blackhawks had a very successful trip down the road to the Eastern Conference. They led 2-1-0 with some very impressive games there. However, the only loss went to the New York Rangers, who returned to the United Center to play the Hawks in Chicago on Tuesday. Like the first game, this one didn’t go so well.

The New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks had a very good game entering the third half with the score of two. Unfortunately, the Rangers were able to score four goals in the third half to win the hockey game 6-2 on aggregate.

The difference in the game is a reminder of how bad Stan Bowman has been as a general manager. Artemi Panarin had four points in the hockey game (2-2-4) and that was the biggest reason why Rangers were able to win.

Seeing The Bread Man so dominant against the Blackhawks was a real shame. You can claim that giving him the Columbus Blue Jacket to Brandon Saad was one of the worst deals in the history of the franchise. Honestly, Stan Bowman should be fired again.

Things get worse when you think back to their game against Rangers over the weekend. Artemi Panarin had three points in that game, so he has seven in five days against the Hawks. Rangers won that match 3-2 so Panarin had a point on all three goals scored.

The Chicago Blackhawks should never have traded Artemi Panarin.

We don’t know for sure if Panarin will still be with the Hawks here in 2021 but they have to wait another year or two to be great with Panarin in combination. He only got better as the years went by and now he is one of the best wingers in the NHL.

Every time this deal pops up, it’s going to infuriate Blackhawks fans. It’s a pity that the Panarin era had to end so quickly. It will be great to see what the Hawks can do with the remaining two years of the contract Panarin had at the time of the transaction.

It’s a shame that the Patrick Kane-Artemi Panarin friendship has to be on the bench now. They mess with each other during the fight and have a nice meet up during the morning skate, it’s really fun to see but their chemistry as teammates is truly exceptional.

Unfortunately he won’t come back so angry as he did for everyone, it’s time to move on. He has scored seven points in six periods, which is also a problem for the current team as they cannot stop him.

There are other good teams in the NHL with elite players like Panarin, so the Hawks need to be better defensively as well. They are going to Canada to play against the struggling Montreal Canadianiens. This is a great opportunity to get the Hawks on track and feel good about their game. It can also be comforting that Artemi Panarin will not have to sit on the bench. A bad deal comes back to haunt them again
