ROCKY MOUNT, NC (WNCN)—Four people were shot dead and a security guard injured outside a bar in Rocky Mount, according to police.
Police said this happened at Block 1100 of Jeffreys Road just before 2am on Saturday.
According to officials, the four victims who were shot were taken to the hospital; the condition of the victims is currently unknown.
The security guard was cut after a fight at the bar started shortly before the shooting, police said.
The police are investigating the shooting and the background.
